Proven and profitable school fundraiser

Most schools have needs that are not covered by state and federal budgets for their activities in general. These include funding for such things as academic excursions and other extras, but more and more often including things like after-school sports and music and art classes. To pay for these things, school fundraising can be employed.

Fundraising options are almost limitless. The only real problem is that people usually have to be willing to pay for the activity or product. Cooking is traditional sales, but things like recycling old ink cartridges ink jet printer are generally easy and free which is a great advantage.

Read-a-marathon are one of the less traditional, where children are sponsored to read books, instead of walking or running.

Be sure to select an appropriate item for your target market – parents, students, community members, etc.

Any good fundraiser requires a coordinator. This is the guy who keeps on top of things and ensures that others involved in the event are doing their part.
